This is Dust Till Dusk

Welcome to Dust Till Dusk. A space where I push myself to explore my creative intuition while nurturing the raw beauty of people, places and things.

Hi, I'm Heidi,

Get to

know me

Dust Till Dusk began as a way to share the beautiful places & people I worked alongside in Australian stock camps. Over time, it has grown into a way of sharing the beauty of our industry - its people, its places & its communities.

At the centre of my work is an unwavering passion to prove to people that they are the art. Without them, none of this exists.

Not just their faces, but what they've built; working with the land to create a home in some of the world's most unforgiving regions.

To photograph people in places they truly belong, in their country, is an opportunity to capture something far deeper. These photographs are tied by nostalgic tethers, offering an item that exceeds the common visual experience.

For those who have lived and breathed this life we are all so fortunate to live, I hope my work gives you the opportunity to genuinely immerse yourself in the imagery. Hearing the symphonies of wind, cattle and horses while smelling the soft scents offered in wide open spaces.

For those who haven't experienced it, I hope this imagery offers you a glimpse into a place that is deeply lived in and deeply loved.
